Edi Nelson is a licensed and registered pediatric occupational therapist with over 25 years of experience specializing in sensory integration and the DIR®/Floortime™ model — a developmental, neuroaffirming and relationship-based approach centered on connection over compliance.
Edi is deeply interested in the sensory-affective-motor triad, using felt safety and caregiver connections as the foundational cornerstones for functional growth. At the heart of her practice is a deep commitment to collaboration: by respecting every family's individual path and centering care on what matters most, she creates an environment where meaningful development and lasting functional growth can flourish.
With a deep passion for fostering interactive synchrony between children and their caregivers, Edi is dedicated to helping every child feel supported as they pursue whatever is in their heart and mind.
